Goals of the Blog:
It is difficult to understand history without understanding what is happening today as well as your place in society in general. As such, you should be keeping up with current events nationally as well as locally. At least twice this semester you will be required to create a summary (post) for an current event and/or respond to other student's summaries (comments). The hope is that you will become more aware of what is happening, how it relates to you while learning 21st century digital skills. Last, keep in mind the internet makes things permanent and puts a lot of responsibility on users to be appropriate (this is not myspace).
